Mathematics Made Simple Part 5

Please go to earlier session before you read this blog because this is one step further.

Another brain training session again, I do hope that everybody who have read the earlier session find it interesting and helpful.

Let’s go straight to the point without further ado.

How much is 16 X 16? Again no calculator is allowed. The answer is 256

Let me show you how.

Step 1- take 6 X 6=36 but only take the 2nd digit i.e.6
Step 2- take 1 + 1 + 3(taken from 1st digit in step 1) = 5
Step 3- take 1 X (1+1) = 2

The results is 256

Another one says 56 X 56

Step 1- take 6 X 6=36 but only take the 2nd digit i.e.6
Step 2- take 5 + 5 + 3(taken from 1st digit in step 1) = 13 again only take the 2nd digit i.e.3
Step 3- take 5 X (5+1) + 1(taken from 1st digit in step 2) = 31

The results is 3136

More difficult! Am I right? Try as many as you can and you will become expert.

Happy learning!
