How much is RM 999 after 90% discount? Again no calculator is allowed.
The answer is 99.9
Normally what we do when we calculate the above?
Step 1- RM 999 X 0.9 = 899.1
Step 2- RM 999-899.1= 99.9
Let me show you the short cut method.
RM999 X 0.1 = 99.9 because after 90% discount the balance is 10%
Another one says RM 888 after 60% discount
RM 888 X 0.4 = 355.2
How much is RM 150 X 12? Again no calculator is allowed.
Short cut method
RM 150 X10 + RM 150 X 2 = RM 1,800
